The standard machine roller is short stature. This attribute allows the machine roller to clear areas with low clearance in order to lift heavy loads.
A common feature among machine rollers is the ability to attach a handle. These handles can be detached and interchanged with a different handle. Interchanging machine roller handles is great when the load requires being pulled by another machine or even a vehicle of some sort. The type of handle placed on a machine dolly can make the task of moving equipment less or more challenging. If the material that is being hauled by the roller machine is lighter, a standard linear handle may do. If the load is quite heavy and is being pulled by a forklift or another vehicle of some sort, the pulling bar would be more effective. The pulling bar comes with a towing eye which can be easily attached to some sort of towing equipment.
A different form of a machine roller may have the ability to be attached with another roller machine through the use of an adjustable-width connecting bar. By the bar of the machine roller being able to adjust to various widths, it can better support equipment with that may be wide or narrow. Sometimes machine rollers may be connected with two connecting bars. This is done to support material of a very large mass.
The machine roller has a platform used to carry loads. The platform can be flat or be embedded with some sort of pattern. The patterns which the machine roller may have generally provide some type of security the equipment that is being carried. It is up to the judgment of the operator to insure that the correct platform is being used to provide the most safety.
